-Do you have a working mic and Ventrilo installed? Yes of course.
-Do you have friends in the Legion? If yes, who? I know a lot of the founding members from Warhammer on Eltharion. Our guild Malevolence was quite friendly with NC. I would emphasise that I know them casually rather than as friends.
-Why did you roll your class? I have done lots of healing and hybrid classes in the past and wanted to try out a purer dps class. I have to say that I love playing sorc and since starting the game there is the bonus of our CC being quite invaluable and needed in lots of situations.
-PvP, PvE or both? I do love both. I play MMOs to play against other human players and I love the strategy and theorycrafting invovled to excel at PVE.
-Preferred playstyle: I don't quite know what you expect here. Technically I would like to belong in a high standard legion where there are lots of players who can discuss and learn with about my class and other classes. Being surrounded by good players with thought-out opinions always elevates the general standards of players who are interested in learning together. In terms of the social side of how i behave/play, I believe in quality rather than quantity and will usually keep quiet, listen and focus on my role.
-What are your goals in Aion? I hope the game measures up to all our hopes. If this is going to get the critical mass that I hope for and bring the content and framework that I am betting that it is, I would hate to play at a mediocre level. I like to play and contribute at the top level. Most of all, I would like to be part of a group of highly competent players who will stick together game to game like you guys have from War to Aion.
-Average daily/weekly playtime and when you're active (6pm GMT-> for example): It varies. Most evening after 7pm. Weekends quite a lot. However, my priority is to be part of Astralis, rather than any old Legion and if there are events organised or you want my participation to go up or down I can accomodate as my work is hardcore but flexible. It's more about your community and being valued within it than being next in line for imba loot or earning DKP.
-Past MMOs and guilds you've played in, be as detailed as possible
(How long you played said MMO, what class, what level and in what Clan/Guild):Previous to War, where I played a DoK, my hardcore MMO was WoW.
I played a druid at what I believed was top level for 3 years. I was a first with Sacrilege/Last Stand, then State of the Art then lastly when I was less hardcore I joined Succession. We did not get any world or Europe first but we played at an unhealthy level of professionalism (I was part of raids that were server firsts in 50% of kills from tier 1 through to tier 5) and my MMO experiences and what i expect of people around me was forever changed by my WoW experience.
-Why do you wish to join us(be as detailed as possible)? I want to be a part of your community. I have played with some of you and Ciber, Ashemmi, Onds and Kayuga have also kindly allowed me to join their parties for dredgion or sieges. I realise that you guys are just like we were at Malevolence, meaning, nice relaxed people who like to play the game properly and have been together for a while. I dont like to grind mindlessly or fuck around playing badly. My time is precious as I work hard in RL, am a single father on some weekends and when I play I want it to have some goal or significance. Again I want to join you for the people that you are. The fact that you are imo the best legion on the server is a bonus.
-Introduction of yourself: My name is John. I am Korean, born in USA but now living in London.
Newmaid (who some of you may know, sorc in War and sorc in Aion) and I run an investment company. I spend a lot of time of recent travelling as I look after a fashion business that we invested in. My hobby is MMOs and whether in business, sport or games, if i cant do it well, I would rather not do it.
I love the challenge of co-ordinating a team in MMOs, the theorycrafting (newmaid and I are both science and maths majors) and personal skills required in PVP and PVE. Aion does not provide that yet but I am hoping it will deliver.
MMOs is my release and I like to joke and relax with like minded mature people. Wiping and playing badly is stressful and the opposite of relaxing!

-Anything else(optional). Like I said, Newmaid and I like to do things properly and be somewhat self reliant. Between us we are 449 in cooking, alchemy, handicrafting and tailoring. Likewise, with miragent I am building up enough bloods to have 5 attempts in a row as we believe the conditional probability of success is not independent of past failures. So when I have enough, I will just go for it and confident i can get the full set soon. Soon after that Waik or Newmaid will follow. I am a few days away.
